Youth Conference!
Thursday thru Saturday of last week was Youth Conference. They asked Brian and I to go as a Ma and Pa. Of course we said yes because we just can't say no the Youth. Thursday was 3 miles up and down hills. Friday was 4 miles through the prairie. Then 2 miles on a road back to the house. I can say that I don't think I have ever been so tired in my life. I also have to mention that Thursday night our tent was floating in water. It was tornado weather. Would I do it agian??? ABSOLUTELY!!!!

What a cool experience! I remember all the EFYs and youth conferences I went to so fondly--they were the best!
I think I know why I never work with the youth...roughing it is SO not my thing. I am sure it was an eye opening experience though, especially with the bad weather. The pioneers certainly dealt with plenty of that.

that looks like an incredible experience. I have got to get my name on a list for a trip like that. I'm glad they had such a great ma and pa up there when the storms hit!
