Strawberry Jam Making!!!

Mari busy at work cutting the stems off the strawberries. How about Baxter's photographer skills!!
Dad taking a break from the blending to pose for a picture.
Me stirring and filling away!!
Cassie and Mari cutting Berries.
The "fruit" of our labors. We made 30 containers. We are hoping to go pick raspberries in the fall and make raspberry jam also!!!
My kids have decided that they don't like anything but our homemade freezer jam. So every year we pick strawberries and make jam!

Ever since we moved here and started picking strawberries we won't eat any other jam either. We ran out two months ago and we were so excited when picking season finally got here. Yummy!

emma, I agree there's nothing like being able to pick the berries, but when we experienced doing that while missionaring in so. caroline I couldnt get out of the patch without eating most of the berries we picked and the rest on the drive home..so now I settle for 'store bought' berries to jam.
