Graduation Day!
Wow it is now summertime how this last year did fly! This is a big year for Baxter he is leaving middle school to go onto that big scary place (at least to mom) that they call high school! He is very excited and a little nervous. He is not going to one of the home schools as they call them. He will be going to a charter school that is funded my the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. It is small and will only have 400 kids. The sad part for Baxter is that he will not be going to school with all of the friends that he made at Mahone. Out of the 6 kids in the pictures he will only be going to school with 2 of them. He will have the fun of making new friends. The top picture is Baxter, Nathan Stearman, Dale, Adrian, Chris Seivert, and Shelby (who will be going to harborside with Baxter). The second picture is Nathan again, Julia (who will go to harbor side) and Jessie who is on a waiting list to get into Harborside. Man I can't believe I am old enough to have a child in High school. I can feel the gray hair coming!

High school is scary, don't you think? Our oldest is starting high school as well, how did we get old enough to have high school kids? Because I don't remember aging that much....How old are your kids now?
Awwww, your little boy is growing up! That's exciting he gets to go to the Bill Gates school, though. What a smarty pants.
My kids are now Baxter 14, Bennett 12, Maritza 9, and Cassie 6 going on 16!
